It must be able to use the tunnel to run away, but it stayed on purpose to attract Meng Lin, the Sky Array Emperor, and the Spirit Talisman Emperor, so that they would fight amongst themselves.

The horrific energy spread out as sand and rocks flew up. Even if the tunnel rocks were extremely strong, they all exploded into a massive hole, as the three of them fought for the spiritual root to their death.     

The three of them were just laughing, and even established a bond, because there were one thousand spiritual stones. Now that the spiritual root absorbed all the spiritual stones, there was only one spiritual root, and all of them wanted it.     

Not only Meng Lin, but also the Sky Array Emperor, and the Spirit Talisman Emperor all fought together, as even the self-cultivators behind them took out their spiritual weapons and started attacking.     

All of a sudden, the entire tunnel filled with aggressive fighting. It was either you die or I die, as arms, legs and even heads were shattered. Blood poured out and filled the entire tunnel, as the tunnel reeked of blood.     

Qingfeng led the Sky Wolf Emperor, Mengyao, Ya Yun, and the others towards the very back. They stayed out of this battle, even though the spiritual root had massive allure, but Qingfeng knew that he was a weakling amongst all this.     

Qingfeng also noticed the spiritual root laughing naughtily in the corner and was shocked.     

The spiritual root had spirituality, and human intelligence. The Grand Thousand Worlds lived up to its fame.     

All things in the universe had their own evolutionary road. A strand of grass could become a saint, or a flower could be immortalized, just as a spiritual root could have spirituality. It was nothing to be feared.     

There were one thousand or so self-cultivators inside the tunnel, each with incredible power, as they all now fought with their full-force and used their vital essence spiritual treasures. They fought each other to the death, nonstop.     

As more people died, the blood-stench in the air grew stronger.     

Suddenly Qingfeng frowned as he felt a huge rush of powerful danger, which terrified even him.     

Qingfeng hadn't even felt danger when he faced Meng Lin, Sky Array Emperor, and Spirit Talisman Emperor.     

It only meant that this sudden danger had massive force. It wasn't from those self-cultivators, but instead it came from the back of the mine tunnel.     

Qingfeng's face changed as he said, "Mengyao, Ya Yun, let's back up and not stay here, it's dangerous."     

After Qingfeng spoke, he was the first to step back, as Mengyao, Ya Yun both stepped back without hesitation, because they had absolute faith in Qingfeng and followed closely.     

The Sky Wolf Emperor, Black Puppy, and Sky-Devouring Snake also stepped back without hesitation. Even though the spiritual root had great attraction, they all trusted Qingfeng's instincts.     

Qingfeng's instincts were never wrong. Once he said there was danger, there must be grave danger.     

In the next moment, a loud explosive sound came from the depths of the ground, as a massive black devil palm reached out from beneath.     

The black devil palm was incredibly powerful as devilish energy boiled about. As the palm launched, it clashed onto Meng Lin's body and drove his body into the air, as he spat out blood, with numerous broken bones.     

Then, the black devil palm attacked again, and drove the Sky Array and Spirit Talisman Emperor's bodies into the air. They flew out several hundred meters, as their bones shattered with loud sounds, and their faces paled, as their skeleton collapsed.     

Those self-cultivators close by couldn't withstand the powerful black devilish energy from the palm at all, as they exploded without leaving behind corpses or even bones.     

The spiritual root's face filled with horror when it saw the black devilish palm. It head dove into the soil, shook in fear as it escaped rapidly, and disappeared in an instant.     

The massive devilish palm continued to climb forward, as a headless devilish corpse crawled out from beneath the ground.     

This headless devilish corpse had no head, as only its neck and below remained, while the rest of its body was covered with dense black hair. Each hair strand was tough like an iron needle and a meter long, making it look like a caveman.     

The headless devilish corpse swung its palm again, and it clapped forward as it immediately killed a hundred or so self-cultivators in the tunnel. The bodies turned into a blood fog that quickly gathered towards his body and was absorbed by him.     

Meng Lin, the Sky Array Emperor, and the Spirit Talisman Emperor had all been wounded by the devilish palm, as they struggled to stand up, and looked at each other with terror.     

Meng Lin shouted loudly, "Run! We're no match against this powerful headless devilish corpse."     

The Sky Array and Spirit Talisman Emperors all nodded, as the three of them all hurried outside the tunnel cave.     

Behind them, several self-cultivators hurried out as well, as some even screamed out in terror like as if they wished their parents had given them two more legs.     

The headless devilish corpse laughed creepily, as it sounded throughout the tunnel cave. It was unbelievable, as if an ancient monster had been revived.     

The headless devilish corpse then charged out incessantly with his two devilish claws and turned all the several hundred self-cultivators into bloody fog, without any survivors.     

Only the three third level spirit monarch powers, Meng Lin, the Sky Array Emperor, and the Spirit Talisman Emperor, and ten or so self-cultivators escaped out.     

Qingfeng and the others also ran incessantly in the tunnel. Qingfeng turned around when he heard the horrific screams, he immediately saw the headless devilish corpse, and it was the most horrific thing he has ever seen as even he trembled in fear.     

Qingfeng pulled onto Mengyao and Ya Yun and ran like stupid.     

Qingfeng and the others used all their energy to finally escape. They panted heavily when they reached the surface outside.     

Meng Lin, the Sky Array Emperor, and the Spirit Talisman Emperor also escaped with ten or so self-cultivators, but all with terror on their faces.     

One thousand or so self-cultivators had entered, but only ten or so survived, while everyone else died inside.
